Sadly the homemade Glühwine lacks both of Glüh and wine. It was more like a lukewarm grapejuice.

Nice environment, good and variabel choice on the menu. Prices are good.

We came for a late lunch on Oct 24 and ordered the crispy chicken with fries with truffle sauce as well as two pulled pork dishes. The chicken was served undercooked in the inside and after asking to have it cooked again, the sides were served cold which was disappointing. That evening all four of us, having shared each others plates, developed severe cramps and diarrhea, some also nausea and vomiting. The symptoms all started simultaneously and ended a day later. It is highly likely that the symptoms were caused by food poisoning. Apart from this horrid experience, we have come to realize the past few times that the food is mediocre and a lot of the staff/waitresses (not all) are very unfriendly. Unfortunately we will not come back again, a shame considering the cool location and ambience inside.

Cute place where to have a Sunday brunch. The place is really big so it’s easy to find a free spot. It also has a big terrace on which the sun shines at lunch hours. The food is good, especially the breakfast things such as the pancakes, muesli and the great variety of hot and cold drinks available. Tables are well separated and due to covid you can order trough your phone, which I found extremely fast and safe. The service it’s a bit slow, so only go there if you have some time available, but it’s totally worth the wait.

A place that lives nearby and often goes to brunch. If I don't live nearby, I don't think I will go there. You can sit outside, and the space inside the cafe is large so you can sit comfortably. All brunch menus are well decorated and taste good Brunch is good for the price, Dinner is a little expensive compared to food Coffee is a bit pricey compared to the taste The smoothies and fruit drinks are delicious and the price is good. It depends on the person who works, but the people who work in general are not very kind. I want to give it 3.5, but I don't have it... It is worth visiting if you live nearby or are nearby. Since it is a chain store, it is also in other towns.

Normally I would give more stars, but today was really disappointing. We waited a long time to place our order and when our food was finally ready nobody delivered us and I had to pick it up myself. The waiter doesn't pay attention and didn't notice anything, otherwise the kitchen rang. The coconut and cauliflower soup was too runny and tasted like no coconut or cauliflower. A pity..

Was extremely disappointed at both the service and quality of food at this Spreegold. Always enjoyed the one in Mitte near Rosenthaler so did not expect such a low standard here. Due to Covid, you can order using your phone at the table. This should have made things easier but for whatever reason, the staff seemed completely confused, continually coming to our table with the wrong orders. Looking around, we saw that they were doing this to pretty much every table and order. Even though the table number is stated in the order, this did not help the employees at all. Even while we were eating, they were still bringing wrong dishes to us and asking us if they were ours. The food itself was really tasteless and boring. I ordered the cauliflower and coconut milk soup, which was really sour and tasted of neither cauliflower nor coconut milk. I almost broke my teeth on the dry bread that came with it. The friend's salad was withered and bland. I also ordered an iced flat white, which was basically a half litre of milk and a tiny bit of coffee. I couldn't taste any coffee at all, absolutely horrible! I asked several employees whether they got the order wrong but apparently, yes, apparently this is their version of a flat white (for €4.50, which is outrageous). Won't be coming here (or any of the other Spreegolds) again.

I love the interior. They had some good IPA on tap when I've been there. Update 2020: they have some interesting food options and I went for lunch there number of times in couple last years. Good coffee, smoothies and teas. However since a few months i am noticing service quality degradation. Wait times are unpredictable and long. Staff used to be friendly but is not anymore.

The location of the Spreegold is central and easily accessible from Schönhauser Allee. We went here for breakfast. The order can be placed via QR code or in person at the waitress. Coffee and juices were freshly made. We had a vitamin smoothie and an orange lemonade. With a latte macchiato and white chocolate. The selection is pleasant and not too big. For breakfast there are various omelettes, scrambled eggs and snacks. We had scrambled eggs with bacon and scrambled eggs with salmon, plus a grilled avocado. The food arrived quickly and was still warm. It tasted very delicious, we just missed a little spice. You could then pay via PayPal, but also cash or by card. We use the option via PayPal, which worked smoothly. Price-performance ratio / taste ratio was right for us. Due to the digital order and payment option, however, personal contact is somewhat lost, which is not a problem for us. 😎

Super cozy inside and you can also sit outside super nice. Perfect for working or studying. I don't find the portions as nice and plentiful as I remembered and the taste is just okay, but I still like to go there.

I like to go here very much. Ordering via mobile phone is super practical. There is delicious food and drinks. Everything a bit expensive but great selection and fast. Full on the weekend and a little slower, of course. But that doesn't hurt me And there are sockets for work during the week. Great spot.

As always, the food was amazing! But you should move to one of the numerous bars afterwards. Drinks don't fit in terms of price-performance ratio. Are very expensive, which I wouldn't mind if they were very good too.

Unfortunately, the portions are getting smaller and smaller and the staff cannot use the till system. As a customer you are stuck even though you stop paying. Repeated. The waitress does not understand if she receives 28 € for an invoice, 31 € via PayPal Instead of thanking you for a tip, you have to wait until boss arrives. Embarrassing.

The Spreegold is actually one of our favorite restaurants, but today we were unfortunately very disappointed ... We made a conscious decision to go for the cauliflower schnitzel, as it was outstanding on our last visit! (See photo March 2020). Today, for the significantly higher price of € 14, we got a significantly smaller portion with, for example, half a carrot instead of several carrots, the schnitzel had shrunk and important ingredients such as pomegranate, cress and pesto, which were shown on the menu (see photo), have been missing. Unfortunately, the taste of the entire ensemble was miles away from the last time. Unfortunately we had to complain about the food and let it go back. The service staff was extremely friendly and hard-working and consulted with the chef: The schnitzel from February was a "special". Nobody could explain why ingredients are missing from the menu. He and his colleague apologized, but they too were surprised at how the dish was described on the menu. Unfortunately, we can only advise against the cauliflower schnitzel at the moment. We recommend either revising the menu or adapting the dish (taste) again. For the usual good drinks and the very friendly staff, we give each one a star and we look forward to being able to enjoy the usual quality again in the future.

Over the last 3 years, the service at this place just got gradually worse and worse. Waiting for 15 minutes to get the attention of 2 waitresses who are too busy chatting to each other...

I was hungry and I had to make some phone calls. The service is great and the quality is very much better. Would come back and recommend to other people.

Matcha latte is sweet and there is no warning about it. Generally, drinks such as coffee or matcha latte should be made without sweeteners!

Food was very great so if you are there you can enjoy it

Two very important things to improve. First thing to improve is the service, waiters could be far more helpful and polite. At the time they were almost rude to visitors, very unpolite. Second thing is cleaneness of their facilities, actually toilets. That was awfull, have regret entering in it. But the meals very decent, bit pricy, even for Berlin, again decent. It is hard for me to recommend this place, hope they will improve.

Nice breakfast options. Had the egg with truffle and extra bred. Can recommend it! And they have a very cool variety of healthy juices and drinks. Recommending it!

If you’re looking for a fusion type brunch spot, this is it! Their breakfast items aren’t particularly traditional which is what I was looking for, but still very yummy!

Disappointing experience. Food was really good, but unfortunately I can’t say the same about the service. I waited over 20 minutes for a piece of cake and the waitress was super rude. The place is nice and the food is really tasty. It’s just a pity..

Sat outside in the sun, very cozy, service very very friendly! You want to be a little offended by the price, but you can hardly do it, afterwards you are full and happy. It was delicious. If the wallet allows, gladly again.

Very nice location and the food is great. A bit expensive and they don't have specialty coffee. But again, the seating is very good.

Three stars because if I order a single espresso and a large cappuccino, you should think that the cappuccino needs to be prepared first, and only after the espresso. Otherwise, by the time it takes you to prepare the cappuccino of my wife, my espresso is already cold. Basic rules of running a coffe shop.

What a great setting. The coffee is well brewed, the sandwiches are delicious and the staff are friendly. All in all, a good space to visit if you're looking for a time out or need to get some work done while sipping on something.

The place looks nice but there was too many negative things. The personnel was rude. I was standing in front of the desk but I did not get served because I was standind 1,5 meters aside where the orders "should be made". Prises were quite high. I ordered caesar salad and water which costed 14,5eur. It was quite small portion and I was hungry afterwards.
